Nuestro recorrido para este año es probablemente uno de los recorridos mas frecuentados en toda Noruega. Empezamos y terminamos en Gjendesheim a la orilla del lago Gjende. El primer día, viaje en barco hasta Gjendebu, donde empezamos nuestra ruta, primero de subida (unos 600 m), para después bajar hasta Memurubu done dormimos la primera noche. El segundo día salimos de Memurubu, donde empieza una de las más famosas rutas de Noruega que pasa por la cresta de Besseggen, para terminar de nuevo a la orilla del lago Gjende, en Gjendesheim.
This year tour is one of the most popular hiking tours in Norway. We start and finish our trip by the Gjende lake. On the first daywe take a boat till Gjendebu, where we will start our trip. Firs we will go up aprox 600m and after enjoyin with the views, and resting a bit, we will go down to Memurubu, by the lake. On the second day we will do the probably most famous hiking tour in Norway, Besseggen.
After nearly 4h drive, and a pizza in the middle of the way, here we are already in the mountains, close to our destination Gjendesheim where our 2008 hyttetur in Jotunheimen will start. As you can see in the photos we are happy of being here
El primer día, para empezar nuestro “paseo” por el monte de una forma más relajada, sobre todo para aquellas de nosotras que no tenemos un despertar “rápido”, cogimos un barco que nos cruzo el lago Gjende, desde Gjendesheim hasta Gjendebu (995m), donde empezaremos a caminar. La verdad es que las vistas desde el barco son una maravilla, merece la pena estar en cubierta, disfrutando del paisaje y por supuesto haciendo fotos. Pero eso si, no olvidar un chaqueta… ¡brrr que frio!. Lo que siempre me sorprende aquí, es que estamos a finales de Junio y todavía hay bastante nieve. Hasta que llegue a Noruega, la verdad es que no estaba acostumbrada a ver tanta nieve. 
The first day, to start our tour in the mountains in an easy way, mainly for those of us that we don´t have a fast waking up, we took a boat to cross the lake Gjende, from Gjendesheim to Gjendebu (995m). The views from the boat are great, and starting in this way, I had plenty of time to enjoy the amazing views, and of course, to take some pictures. What always amazes me is that eventhough we are at end of June, there is still a lot of snow. UntilI came to Norway, I was not used to the snow
